Jonathan Exploring Our Household - Dec14

This will be my last post for the year and I hope it has gone well for you all.

Jonathan is almost at the walking stage now, but over the last few months we have found that he is extremely inquisitive and loves checking everything out (which invariably means the items you most want him to avoid!).

Below are a selection of photos of him taken this week (including one of Bruce doing what he does best, i.e. lying around). Happy New Year everybody and all the best for 2015!

2014 Monthly Project: Dec-14 (Xmas Lights)

We decided to do a night tour around Brisbane, looking for displays of Xmas lights. There were some amazing set ups in fact so I decided to dedicate my last month of the year (and the project) to the Xmas lights.

Most of these photos were taken at a place in the suburbs of Sinnamon Park and Clayfield.

2014 Monthly Project: Nov-14 (Child's First Birthday Party)

It was a busy, but very enjoyable day last Saturday as we celebrated Jonathan's first birthday! We had around 25 guests and the party went really well.

The lady folk did a terrific job with the catering and Jenn's design skills came into play regarding the cake and the space motif.

Our little guy has turned one year old! Below are some shots taken on his birthday (Friday 28th November).

He was lucky enough to have three of his grandparents, his parents and Aunty Jacquie present....Plus the two dogs!

2014 Monthly Project: Oct-14 (Multi Self Portraits)

Time for some photographic fun!

I came across this technique a few years ago which involves blending multiple self portraits together to produce an overall comical effect.

I played around this weekend and came up with these final exposures. No, you are not doing a double or multi take!
