In the early evening a group of us went kayaking on the Yarra. I would recommend this as an alternative way of viewing the city - it really adds another dimension to it.

My friend Mike and I had a busy weekend in Melbourne. Yesterday morning we were up early for mountain biking in Lysterfield National Park, just outside Melbourne. It was chilly, but mostly sunny and generally good conditions.
In the early evening a group of us went kayaking on the Yarra. I would recommend this as an alternative way of viewing the city - it really adds another dimension to it.
