It was a scorcher here today for Xmas Day, reaching around 36-37C so almost all of it was spent inside with air conditioning on. However I did get up early and managed to jerry-rig an irrigation system in our vege enclosure.
We had an excellent day, and Jonathan was over the moon about what Santa brought him. As I type, you can barely see the carpet with all the toys and pieces of lego (which will probably turn into death traps at 3am as I wander around the house in a daze with bare feet....).
We also did a lot of cooking and food prep. For breakfast, we made Xmas tree shaped waffles, then for lunch I did a chargrilled salmon and peach salad, some roast potatoes and a pavlova for dessert while Jenn made a tomato and bocconcini salad and prepared a turkey.
Merry Xmas everyone and enjoy the shots!
