With all the news about Corona Virus circulating around, I am finding photography a good distraction.
I got lucky last night with the sunset over the Story Bridge here in my home town of Brisbane. The light was initially a bit flat and muddy then as the sun set, some amazing colours came out.
Enjoy the shots!

Tennis - ATP Tournament
I go to the Brisbane International every year in Jan. The format has now changed with the ATP tournament replacing the men's part of the former Brisbane International.
Jenn, Jonathan and I went to see the French team take on the South African team.
We only stayed for one game and it was a long one. Gilles Simon from France took on (and defeated) Lloyd Harris from South Africa.
Below are a selection of shots I took.

Lake Wivenhoe Astro Shots - Sep19
I returned to Lake Wivenhoe for some astro shots - I went about a year ago.
I chose a slightly different spot this time - flew the drone first, then got the camera out to shoot the night sky. A beautiful clear evening and a very peaceful place - enjoy!

Gold Coast Marathon - Jul19
Whilst I couldn't run the 1/2 marathon this year, I decided to go down and take photos - and give my friend Alberto some support!
The weather was not the best - lots of rain leading up to the event, then persistent showers throughout (including a massive deluge right when the wheelchair participants started!).
But got a few good shots to hopefully show the passion on the day.
