Jonathan Meets the Family Friends and Relatives - May14

Jonathan made his first trip to NZ last weekend (and his first trip in an aircraft). We had a lovely time in Christchurch and it was wonderful to catch up with friends and family.

Jonathan was the star of the show and loved the attention. The shoot below included our long time family friends Kay & Ian, plus he posed with his grandparents (Grandma & Granddad Green) as well as his great aunt and uncle (Aunty Ang & Uncle Merv) plus my cousin Michelle and her daughter Kirsty.

Enjoy the shots!

Jonathan completely whacked out after a long day being the centre of attention! Asleep in the arms of my parents (a.k.a. Grandma & Granddad Green)

2014 Monthly Project: May-14 (An HDR Trip Around Brisbane's Colonial Past)

For this month I decided to put my walking shoes on and explore the old sandstone colonial government buildings around Brisbane's CBD. I also noticed a lot of painted traffic signal boxes (which I have photographed) as well.

So my theme for this month is an HDR Photoshop application to old buildings, crumbling sandstone and....painted signal boxes. Very colourful with popping colours, a bit random, I admit, but I appreciated the walk around!

Young Jonathan in his new play chair! Luckily for Mum and Dad he hasn't driven us crazy with the flashy lights, buttons and noise yet :-)

Post Maternity Shoot - Apr14

Before Jonathan was born, Jenn and I did a photo shoot. The dogs were part of it and it was a fun session.

We tried to recreate the shoot six months later, now with Jonathan in the scene. As well as recreating some of the earlier shots, we also took a few family shots under the studio lights. Enjoy!
