I made another trip out to Lake Moogerah tonight (with a work colleague who was test driving his new high end Nikon) to shoot some more Milky Way shots.
It was also my first go using my 14mm Samyung lens which, being wide angled, covers a large proportion of the sky.
As always, click on the images to enlarge and...enjoy the shots!

Wellington Point Sunrise Shots - Jul16
I'm starting to get interested in landscape photography again. Partly due to a new lens acquisition (a super wide angled Samyung 14mm), but also partly due to wanting to explore more of Brisbane.
Also, while having used Adobe Camera Raw for years, I am finally becoming an Adobe Lightroom convert (offers many more options for converting RAW camera files).
These shots were taken at Wellington Point which is a bayside suburb of Brisbane. Quite a nice area and the jetty was the focal point of this shoot. Enjoy!

Jonny & The Dogs - Jul16
We've had some unsettled weather lately, but we got a couple of hour's opportunity this morning to take shots of Jonathan bounding around the backyard with Bruce and Cookie.
All shots taken with one of my favourite lenses - a 50mm f1.8 prime lens. Small, light and with the aperture wide open, creates a pretty cool narrow depth of field.
Enjoy!
