Jonathan's 3rd Birthday Party - Nov16

Our young lad turns three on Monday so today it was party time! Looking back on his previous two birthdays, it is amazing how much he has changed and developed.

As well as close friends of ours in attendance, his Grandma (June) and Aunty Jacquie arrived from NSW and his Uncle Chris and Aunty Jacinta arrived from VIC last night so we had excellent company to celebrate his birthday.

Mum's 70th Birthday Weekend - Nov16

I went across to NZ to celebrate Mum's 70th birthday. The majority of the trip was over on the West Coast and we have a lovely time catching up with our relatives (Aunty Ang, Uncle Merv, cousins Michelle, Kirsty and Rachel (and Kirsty's partner Roman), plus Uncle Robert and Aunty Marilyn).

I managed to get out and take shots around Greymouth and Runanga plus shots on the drive across and back.

While the weekend was a happy event, I did manage to get involved in the big quake just after midnight, but eventually got back to Brisbane ok. Thoughts with our family and all people caught up in this horrible disaster.
