Below are a selection of shots from my Canon 5d Mkiv, taken in and around Hobart last weekend. We were down there for Jenn's 40th birthday, plus I ran the Cadbury 1/2 Marathon on Sunday.
We had a terrific time - I even managed to haul myself out of bed pre dawn to get some sunrise shots from Mt Nelson Signal Station which overlooks the city and harbour.
Other pictures include Hobart's waterfront, the Salamanca Market, the blowholes near Port Arthur and Port Arthur itself. The final shot is the near 200 year old bridge in Richmond.
Enjoy the shots and click on each image to enlarge.

Brisbane International Tennis - Part 2 - Jan18
I went again to the Brisbane International again last Thursday night.
It was another cracker with some excellent tennis, both from the women's singles game and the men's singles game.
The first game (the women) was played between K. Kanepi (Est) and K. Pliskova (Cze). Pliskova eventually won after a 3 setter.
The men's game was played between John Millman, a local guy and G. Dimitrov, currently ranked at number 3 in the world. John played an outstanding game and was unfortunate to lose as had a couple of match points, but the experience and talent of Dimitrov came through in the end.
Enjoy the shots!

Brisbane International Tennis - Part 1 - Jan18
This is the third consecutive year I've been to the Brisbane International Tennis event. It is a great way to kick the year off.
I had an excellent spot to snap some shots and the tennis didn't disappoint - this included an epic women's match between J. Konta (UK) and A. Tomljanoivic (Croatia), the former winning in 3 sets.
The men's match was between a Brisbane local J. Millman and a Canadian P. Polansky.
I'm heading out again tomorrow (Thursday) night, but enjoy the shots from my first night.
