It was time to try a new location out for my astro project. Normally I shoot from Lake Moogerah which is a 1-1.5 hour drive from home. The advantage of this location is the very low light pollution.
Last night I drove to Lake Wivenhoe which is slightly shorter in driving time and offered a new perspective.
While it was good to try a new spot out, there was some definite light pollution on the southwards facing horizon, but still enjoyable nonetheless.
The selected images I experimented a bit with the temperature range - any feedback on which colours work best would be appreciated! As usual, click on the images to enlarge.
