f365: Day 179

Today's post is dedicated to my late dear sister Venessa. It was two years ago today we heard the terrible news about her accident (impossible to believe at first) - sadly she passed the next day.

In some ways it has been very hard to come to terms with. Her infectious smile, unforgettable laugh, willingess to help anyone and a fantastic friend, sister and mentor. She was loved by many, made her mark on many, and will never be forgotten by many.

My photo for today is a photo of her taken at our wedding in March 2010. She embraced Buddhism so her photo is positioned next to our Buddhist statue with lit candle.

I am not a poet, but I found this verse:

"We remember you

Even when the world forgets

We remember your smile
Even when we can’t find anything to smile about

We remember your laughter
Even when nothing is funny

We remember how you felt

Even if we can’t hold you

We remember you
Even when it hurts the most

One day we will see you again"
